Gold mineralization at the project site occurs in the quartz stockwork which is contained within the porphyry and in zones of argillic alteration. Exploration work completed by the experts of Capella on this property includes an historical compilations of previous exploration data, Reverse Circulation ("RC") drilling and diamond drill hole (DDH) drilling, Ground Magnetic and Induced Polarization ("IP") surveys, a detailed remote sensing analysis and 3D modeling of available geophysical data.
Nevada Gold-Copper project is another 100% owned property of Capella Resources located southeast of Lajitas project. It is a 1900 hectare landholding which is located between the Kinross Gold's Maricunga-Refugio Mine (North) and the Exeter Resource's Caspiche Project (South) in the Maricunga Gold Belt, Northern Chile. The exploration work completed here includes historical compilation of available data, Induced Polarization ("IP") and Ground Magnetic surveys and a detailed hyperspectral remote sensing analysis with three drilling locations (DDH) and several trenches on indicated anomalies.
The experts of Capella Resources have also been working on the Tinton Gold Project which is a 1270 hectare landholding and is contained in 157 unpatented mining claims. The Tinton property is located 15 kilometers west-northwest of the famous and historic Homestake Mine in Black Hills at Lead, South Dakota. The company has also received drilling permits for its Tinton property a 2,000 meter hole is expected to be drilled to the east of the adit. The Maricunga Gold Belt hosts 14 major prospects which include three operating mines and two substantial idle deposits. This Belt is approximately 150 kilometers long and 30 kilometers wide and comprises of a NNE trending chain of andesitic to dacitic volcanoes.
